Cummins announces over 100 technician jobs available across Australia

Leading diesel engine supplier Cummins has launched a recruitment drive for over 100 diesel technicians for its city, regional and remote operations in Australia.

Cummins already employs over 800 diesel technicians in the South Pacific region – most of them in Australia – and needs further technicians at a time of unprecedented company growth.

“This is a great opportunity for diesel technicians to join a global company which offers proven career advancement,” says Dennis Quinn, Managing Director of Cummins South Pacific. 

“Many senior managers at Cummins were previously technicians with the company.”

Applicants then have the opportunity to win a trip to Adelaide in March 2012 to attend the Clipsal 500, V8 Supercar event and enjoy three days of Cummins corporate hospitality, plus a $5,000 bonus.

In addition, applicants who may not win the ultimate prize but successfully secure a position at Cummins have the opportunity to win a $3,000 bonus should they remain employed for a minimum of three months.

The world’s largest independent diesel engine manufacturer, Cummins has 40 branches in the South Pacific, most being in Australia. The company has a strong presence in the trucking, mining, power generation, industrial and marine markets.
